COACTA COMMUNITY GUIDELINES Effective Date: 2026-10-13 Coacta is for coordinating sports and fitness activities with clubs, teams, and friends. By using Coacta you agree to these Guidelines along with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Safety Guidelines. These Guidelines are part of the Terms. We may remove Content, limit features, warn users, suspend or terminate accounts, and contact law enforcement when appropriate. Context, intent, severity, and repeat behavior matter. Appeals: support@coacta.com. Safety concerns: safety@coacta.com. Age - You must be 18 or older. Accounts for anyone under 18 are not allowed. - Do not misrepresent your age or help anyone bypass the age requirement. - Do not use Coacta to contact, solicit, or meet minors. Child safety Coacta has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. That includes sexual images or video of anyone under 18, whether real, drawn, or made with AI; sexual messages to a minor or attempts to groom one; threatening to share someone's images to get more images, money, or sex from a minor (sextortion); and trafficking. When we learn of it we remove it, lock the account, keep what the law requires us to keep, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Our full standards are at coacta.com/child-safety. Be respectful No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, bullying, stalking, threats, doxxing, or unwanted romantic/sexual pressure. Do not share others' personal information (home address, phone, government IDs, financial or medical details) or intimate images without consent. That includes fake or AI-made intimate images. If someone has shared an intimate image of you, ask us to remove it at coacta.com/take-it-down; we remove it within 48 hours of a valid request. Single-gender activities are an exception to the line above, not a breach of it. Where we offer the option, a poster may mark an activity female only, and Coacta hides it from accounts that are not set to female. Using that option is legitimate. Misrepresenting your gender to get into one is not, and neither is using any activity tag to harass or exclude people on any other basis. Keep it safe and legal Follow local laws and traffic rules. Do not organize illegal activities or challenges that create a serious, unjustified risk of harm. Do not promote violence, terrorism, trafficking, or the trade of restricted goods (weapons, illegal drugs, and similar). Do not post sexual content, child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance—we will remove and report as required by law), or content that promotes suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders. If you or someone you know needs help, contact local emergency services or appropriate crisis resources. Be authentic about meetups No fake profiles, impersonation, or age misrepresentation. Activity posts should accurately describe sport, time, start location, difficulty/pace expectations, and who the meetup is for. Do not bait people with misleading listings. Post Content you have rights to share. We remove Content after a valid copyright notice and close the accounts of repeat infringers (Terms of Service, section 16). Keep photos, videos, and chat appropriate for a mixed sports community—no nudity, graphic violence, or shock content. Photos and video of other people - Do not post photos or videos of anyone under 18 unless you are their parent or guardian or have a parent's or guardian's permission. - Never film, photograph, or share anyone in a locker room, restroom, or changing area, or while they are changing, including in transition areas and on pool decks. Be a reliable organizer and participant Show up or cancel/update activities promptly. Communicate pace, difficulty, and requirements clearly. Welcome newcomers across ability levels. Club admins are responsible for keeping their group spaces (including chat, polls, and announcements) within these Guidelines and for not using clubs to run scams or deceptive promotions. If your group requires its own waiver, it is your document and your responsibility. Keep it lawful and accurate, do not use it to collect personal information outside Coacta or to demand payment, and do not present it as something Coacta wrote or endorsed. See the Terms of Service for the full rules. No spam or platform abuse Do not spam chats, comments, friend requests, club joins, or notifications. Do not create accounts in bulk, scrape or harvest user data, bypass rate limits, or use automation in ways that harm the service or other users. Do not evade enforcement by creating a new account after a suspension. Reporting and enforcement Use in-app Report and Block tools when you see violations. If you cannot use the app, or are not on Coacta, email safety@coacta.com. Misusing reports to harass someone is itself a violation. When we take action, we may notify the account email on file. You can appeal by contacting support@coacta.com with relevant context (generally within six months of the decision). A human will review appeals. Repeated unfounded reports may lead to limits on reporting or other account actions. We may use automated signals to help surface abuse, but enforcement decisions that restrict accounts are subject to human review on appeal.
