Delete your Coacta account

You can delete your Coacta account and the data associated with it at any time, either in the app or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete in the app

1. Open Coacta and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab and open the ⋯ menu.
3. Tap Settings, then Delete account.
4. Type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email privacy@coacta.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Coacta account.” We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before deleting it, and we will reply once it is done.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, photo, bio, and availability
• Activities you posted, plus their RSVPs and comments
• RSVPs, comments, and reactions you left on other activities
• Friends, friend requests, and favorites
• Club memberships, poll votes, and club chat messages
• Direct messages you sent, and photos you sent in chat
• Saved routes and workouts, including any heart rate, power, or other training values
• Notifications and push notification registrations

What we keep, and for how long

• Clubs you created stay open for their remaining members, with no owner listed.
• Reports other members filed about you are kept for safety and moderation.
• Records of which policy and group waiver versions you accepted, and when, may be kept for a limited period after deletion where we need them to show what was agreed or to establish or defend a legal claim.
• We aim to remove or de-identify remaining personal information from our active systems within 45 days, except where we must keep it for legal, security, dispute, or backup purposes.

Content that other people copied outside Coacta is not something we can delete. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
